Welcome to the Samson Cycles website.

 

It's been roughly 9 months since the opening of the shop and although it's certainly been far from quiet, the support from the local community and also cyclists from other parts of Melbourne has been nothing short of fantastic. I have met many amazing people in the shop and although it can often be a little busy at times I really appreciate the patience and kindness people have shown towards me.

 

The workshop volume has increased significantly and although the weather just after the Christmas period was a little hot (reaching 40+) cyclists were still making the trip to the shop for many different things which was very much appreciated.

 

The general service price has increased from $50.00 to $70.00 and I hope that people are not too put off by the increase in price, the original price of servicing ($50.00) was creating a huge workload for me and the storage of so many bikes was becoming a bit of a problem. If you feel that $70.00 is too much for what you think is adequate for your bike please feel free to mention this to me and I will service your bicycle for the original price of $50.00.

 

The children's Balance Bikes were a huge success for Christmas gifts and although there are still a few left the stock levels are getting lower and lower as the warm weather encourags even the yougest of cyclists to get out on a bike and have fun.
